Diversity, Inclusion & Equality

Providing Inclusive and Quality Support Services
in Melbourne and Regional Victoria

At Inclusivity Support Services, diversity is not just acknowledged — it is celebrated!

We are committed to creating a space where every individual feels respected, seen, and supported for who they are. Our service model is founded on the belief that every person deserves to live a life of dignity, autonomy, and belonging.

Inclusivity as Our Standard

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Our team is trained to provide culturally responsive care that reflects the realities of our diverse communities, including people of all ages, abilities, cultures, gender identities, faiths, and lived experiences. Everyone deserves to bring their whole selves to the care they receive.

Diversity as Our Strength

We believe that our community is made stronger through diversity. It enhances our understanding, enriches our service delivery, and helps us honour each participant’s unique perspective. We listen deeply and seek to understand the challenges faced by culturally diverse, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ and First Nations communities, recognising that no two journeys are the same.

Equality as Our Commitment

We are committed to providing fair, accessible, and safe services for all. That means challenging systemic barriers, addressing gaps in representation, and ensuring that no one is left behind. Through continuous learning and active allyship, we aim to build a future where everyone has equal opportunity to thrive.

Neuro-Affirming & Trauma-Informed Practice

Our team embraces neuro-affirming care that honours the unique ways individuals experience, express, and navigate the world. We believe every participant’s identity, communication style, and learning needs are valid, and deserving of care without judgment or pressure to conform. We also take a trauma-informed approach, ensuring safety, empowerment, and choice are embedded in all supports.

Whole-Person Care Through Intersectional Awareness

We understand that many participants hold multiple identities, which may intersect in ways that increase vulnerability or risk. Our team works holistically, recognising how race, culture, disability, gender, and past trauma can impact access to care. By approaching every client with humility and respect, we deliver services that honour the whole person, not just their diagnosis.

Acknowledgement of Country

Inclusivity Support Services acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, learn and work. We recognise the unique position held by Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander people as the original custodians and owners of the land and pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.

We acknowledges the importance of Indigenous history and knowledge in our provision of support and care for individuals from Indigenous backgrounds. As a disability organisation we are privileged to work and learn daily with Indigenous clients, their families and as well as networks of support professionals and advocacy groups.

At Inclusivity Support Services, inclusion is not an initiative. It is our identity.

We stand for representation, respect, and radical belonging. Because everyone deserves to be safe, supported, and celebrated — not in spite of who they are, but because of who they are.
